I am the office manager of a contruction company. We needed some extra help so my friend told me to hire a new acquaintance of ours. She has been working with me for about 6 months and is now one of my best friends. I love her to death but she is not doing her job well. My boss wants to get rid of her. He told me that he thinks she is dumber than a 3 dollar bill and he hates coming into the office when she is here. A few weeks ago my boss told me they were going to let her go in mid January when they get back from hawaii. I told my friend so that she would have time to look for a new job. She was very upset about this. She didn't know how she could get fired from "the easiest job ever". Well now my boss wants to get rid of her right away. Am I wrong to keep that information to myself this time so that she doesn't get upset again?

I have a disability and my job fired me after being out on disability leave in which their disability company approved. Am I wrong to try to sue them for firing me for beign out as this disability cant be helped and even though we didnt have to tell our supervisors about our disability I told mine and I feel like they used it against me to fire me. My union even agrees with them am I wrong to want to just sue everyone as I did excellent work for this company and was not out 1 day except for when this disability began.

I have been busting my ass trying to "prove myself" promoting/advertising for a company for over a month now for free.. No guidelines, no tools, no support whatsoever from the so-called "employer".. I have gone above & beyond what has been required of me.. I was getting nervous though because he never wanted to talk about money.. So, a few days ago I ask him for some money just to see what he would say.. (I told him specifically, it was for gas & my phone/internet bill, mind you, so I can go do my job) & he blows me off for no other reason than the fact that he doesn't want to open his wallet.. Would I be wrong if I did a little anti-advertising & went around town telling everyone why NOT to use them? Is a brick thru his rear window overkill?

I have been working for my aunt and uncle's company for close to 6 years. It is not my ideal career to sit behind a desk and I really don't like the way they run their business. They spend the company money on personal items such as cars, vacation homes, travel, motorcycles, etc. If I was not family I would have left a long time ago because I don't even like knowing that they are using compnay money for their personal ventures. What makes it worse is that half the time there is barely enough money in the company bank account to cover payroll and payables are far overdue. I have mentioned, kind of sarcastically, moving or finding a new job. My aunt replies, kind of sarcastically, that she will glue me to my chair. I feel completely stuck. I love my family and I don't want any sour grapes between us but I feel like if I don't get out of this career than I am only hurting myself. Should I let them know that I am looking for a new job or should I wait until I find a new job and then give a regular 2 weeks notice? Am I wrong for wanting to leave?

I'm just so awesome. People at work wish they could be like me, and it causes work to not get done. They're always just standing around telling me they wish they could be like me...do I need to turn down the awesomeness so work can get done, or should I forget those clowns and keep being me?

I lied on my resume to get a job and now I start working for them Sept 7th!

My coworker always takes credit for my work. I invited her to come out one night, but told her the wrong place purposely. When she asked me what happened the next day, I lied and told her she got it wrong.
